You might try looking around this site (make sure to check the forums), the 260 has been gaining a lot of favor in long distance match shooting:

It seems the 260, 6.5x47 and 6.5 Creedmore are all fighting it out for the 6.5mm target crown. You could also give H-S a call and ask about the twist rate they use. They make nice rifles.
