Any Fans of the 260 Remington Here?

I've been offered a pretty good deal on an H-S Precision SPL in .260 Remington. Currently own 7mm-08 and 6.5x55 rifles (Ruger 77's) that the boys usually hunt with, but this SPL is done "right" and seems like it would make one hell of a great deer rifle.

The selection of factory .260 Rem ammo is sparse and my time is limited to the point that I avoid handloading unless I really, really have to. Anyone have any compelling arguments for (or against) this cartridge? Seems like it won't do any less, or any more, than the 6.5x55 but the range of available factory Swede ammo is far better. I've got a pile of 7mm-08 ammo and would probably grab the SPL in a heartbeat if it was chambered that way.
