I agree with you John.
At worst lets call it a barrel burner and call it good for 2000 rounds. That's still 5-10 years hunting for most people and at say $750 for a new barrel,that's $150 a year at the worst.

I have said elsewhere that if I had my time again I would build a 6.5x68,8x68 and a 10.75x68.
I think the 264win and 6.5x68 would be similar ?.
