I wouldn't say it has been ignored.
At least no moreso than the 318 Westley Richards or the 35 Whelen which it happens to fall between.
Seems to me that unless the bullet is travelling at super high velocity or of super heavy weight, it generally goes about the business of killing game without much notice from the magazines.
