Not unexpected but it seems it will not get "home" until the new year. The proof house has one person in at work today

and the chances of getting it put on a carrier back to the smith is minimal to zero and unless it can be aranged for tomorrow then as the proof house closes for the Christmas shutdown that's it until at least 4th January. Oh poo the rifle is in the white so I wonder what condition it will be after another 15 days minimum
