Sorry a bit late to the party but here goes. BSA made a range of sporting rifles on the Enfield P-14/17's first starting in 1929 with the Hi Velocity sporting rifle in proprietry cartridges .26 BSA, .33 (330 BSA) BSA and .40 BSA not many were made as the depression put a huge dampner on things. Later in the period 1949-1953 they built the Models A-E with the E being the highest having new stocks and new BSA barrels. This is my Model E:- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Drilled and tapped for the P-H 6E or Redfield WCH70 receiver sights ![]() Poor condition model C with P-H sight ![]() ![]() BSA bored the oblong hole out round and sweated in a plug the D&T'd it and applied their trade mark. ![]() ![]() ![]() Production stopped with the introduction of their new Hunter range of rifles on the action of BSA's own design. Hope you like it and it's of some interest. |
