You know my post above is from the 10/16/08 and since then I had that same rifle re barrelled to .358 Norma Mag.

And since then I have purchased a commercial `98 action which as I type is having a 308 Norma M barrel screwed in amongst other jobs,the reason being is that they are a ripping calibre,hard,flat and fast,besides 300 Win mags are too common ( I have one too) and its nice to be out of a different mould at times.
