Three-shot groups ran 1.5 inches at 100 yards and I never had a single issue with the infamous "wandering zero", tho I have experienced that with poorly bedded No.1's and other two-piece stock rifles.

IMO the Lee action deserves far more respect than it is given. With properly adjusted mags the guns are dead reliable and the No.4's VERY accurate. We had two Canuck Long Branch No.4MkI*'s that consistently shot 4 1/2 inches for 3 shot groups at 300 meters, and my spits on the ground every time the subject of my selling them comes up.
