Just wondering what the status of your Empire order is. My 6.5-'06 barrel assembly will be delivered to their shop today for re-barrel to 9.3x62 and I'm hopeful that the turnaround isn't too long.

Unfortunately I saw a post on another forum this morning from someone in a similar situation as you...rifle ordered in November 2006 and still waiting for it. I'm planning on taking my Empire (with the .30-'06 barrel fitted) on a couple of hunts this November, so I won't be sending the action to them unless/until they can confirm a rapid turnaround on fitting the 9.3 assembly.
