I started with the Simplex dies included with my Sako AV 9.3x62 and had nothing but trouble. Crushed several necks when trying to seat bullets, then had three partial head separations on supposedly once-fired Norma brass also supplied by the original owner. I suspect the cases were being excessively overworked by out-of-spec dies, even when set at nominal position. Changed over to Redding dies, junked the old brass for new Norma and never had a single problem since. I'd recommend Redding dies. |
