I started reloading metallic cartridges in Junior Hi in the late 60’s with a Lee loading kit and an oak hammer handle. When I graduated from college, one of my early purchases was an RCBS Rock Chucker press. Most of my dies have always been RCBS. I did have a Redding .308 Winchester neck sizing die when I shot high power in the late 70’s and early 80’s. So I like RCBS. But I have heard the charge of too tight a base diameter several times. If Redding are as good as RCBS in general, as several posters say, and in this particular case are more properly dimensioned, then I think I will try Redding in this case. Brazos Jack |
