Jack,
I have RCBS dies in 9.3x62. They have proper dimensions in every respect. The base diameter is proper to this cartridge and not set the same as the .30-06. When using brass formed from .30-06 the dies do not reduce the case back to .30-06 base dimensions. The dies are excellent quality. Have no fear of them.
