I don't see why this wouldn't be a great idea. The 9.3x62 runs lower pressure than the 270. How much lower I am not sure. I saw a beautiful 95 at Wild West Guns in Anchorage that was a switch barrel, 30-06 and 35 Whelen. I know they have been barreled in everything up to 411 Hawk, so the 9.3x62 would be a great pairing of rifle and cartridge. Mart.
