Over the years I have hunted with 257wby, 7mmwby, 300wby and 270wby. 257 and 300wby I got no interest to have again.
Personally, I don't see the need of a 300wby, 7mm wby hauls a 175 grain bullet at 3000fps, 270wby shoots a 150 grain bullet at 3200 fps, outstanding trajectory with less recoil and can be had in a lighter rifle. I like to get closer and 300 meters is my field limit.

For a fast 30 I would look at 308 Norma mag or 300 Win. 3006 loaded hot is not bad either. Goal is a bullet with good bc launched at 2900 - 3050 fps.
