let me explain you the world of guns in a short way. there are military rifles, also being military rifles when obsolete, a class of its own. then you have plain working guns, gentleman guns(what this forum is about)and something between this. a special group of gunnuts is attracted by automatic rifles with big magazines, many of them have bubba intentions and handle guns like they see it in computer games. this is in fact the gun plebs! its not that you cant grow out of this group by educate youself to a higher taste.
I also know that the sks carbine doing a good work in the hand of many russian hunters every day.I see a working gun( also when milsurp)as what it is, a tool. two weeks ago I handle an old Remington Mod. 8 in .35 Rem, that is a differnt world, of course.
