My 460 was an early one with a G&H sidemount for the scope with total weight about 12 1/2 pounds. I didn't mind the recoil with the muzzle brake, but it was considerable and too much for my friends. What I did NOT like was the weight. I don't like carrying anything over 10-10 1/2 pounds.

I have owned 4 378's and liked the first three which had brakes. The last one was a light German W'by with no M/B. It was uncomfortably PAINFUL to shoot. Much worse than my 460.
