Not originating in the USA is part of the reason this cartridge is not better known. European shooters have known of its virtues for ages. With better quality bullets in the 200 gr class now available for the 325 WSM, there is also no great problem with components, brass is always going to be the hardest to come by. I have a RWS bullet board which has a 8mm bullet on it for these which is a 196gr RN FMJ so they were seen as a multi-duty round in every way I'm guessing. Steve |
