Actually the 8 X 68S should bee superior in power to the .300WinMag ( unless for some odd reason this Krico had a short barrel) Ive owned 2 Kricos in the past , both shot well , though mine not in this calibre.
If I recall RWS 187gr had a muzzle velocity of 3280 in the 8X68S
