Dear all.

I have recently been phoned by a gunsmith friend of mine, who has advised that he has "a super rifle" of the title for sale. I am told it has gold inlay everywhere, and is mouted within a piece of wood "to die for".

To my mild embarrassment, I know little of Krico rifles, and even less of the calibre 8x68s. I currently own a 7RM, have owned a .300 Win Mag and Weatherby Mag, and believe the 8 Mil will fall some way between the two. Other than resorting to the usual reloading manuals, and "Cartridges of the world", where on the web will I find information about either the calibre or the rifle??

I am going to view it witinin the next week or so, but I would very much appreciate the views of the forum about either the rifle of calibre. I am primarily a Blaser R93 man, and this is very much a poke in the dark for me, especially with the calire. That said, if it is as nice as described, I would be a fool to overlook it.

I would very much appreicate as many web links as you can supply me with.
