I own a Browning Safari Grade BAR in .338 Winchester Mag. I really wanted to take it with me on my plains game safari this fall, but since I'm going to South Africa apparently I'll have to leave it home (correct?) What about the other African countries? Will any of them allow me to bring my Browning for a future hunt, or is the BAR banned throughout the entire continent? IS it banned? Maybe it's not. Maybe I've been given bad information... Any advice?
