As to the 460, it was definitely no fun.

You hear stories you don't belive of guns that "punch" you and you see stars--this one was in that category.
Never thought I was recoil sensitive until then, but I had a headache after three shots.

BTW, if you are a collector of early Weatherby's there is a 30-06 with a Norman Ford Texan scope, probably about a 1948 to 1951 Gun in prime comdition.
