In S Africa..unless you are going after dangerous game--you really don't need a .416 or even .375 for that matter...shots can be a bit further than places like Zim or others ..and therefore I sugget going with a 250 gr in 338 or 200 gr in 300 or one caliber or another..

BUT, agree, think they will sell a boat load of the .416 Rugers and plan to have one soon myself..

I am a HUGE fan of the .416--think it is a fantastic caliber with really good SD and BC with the 400 gr bullet...and IMHO, a better caliber the the Win .458..

..and I owe a couple of both...but, again, that's just me...
