Or better yet ... 338/06 or 35Whelen loads. The 35Whelen in particular would be a lower pressure cartridge (I'm assuming) in the reloading manuals thanks to the old Springfield's etc... floating about. The start loads for the 35Whelen may be a good place to start ... match the SD of the 318WR's projectile to the closet 35cal pill for the 35Whelen and use that projectile weights start loads. Does that make sense?
