Well, it depends on what you mean by tall! I'm 6'4". When I played basketball in H.S., I was not considered tall at all. When I played QB in High School and College, I was considered tall enough where it would be a good advantage!
My shotgun length of pull is 15 1/2". My Length of pull for a scoped rifle is 14 3/4".
