9,3x57 loads in the mauser 96

its maybe interesting for the public here: as you know Husqvarna had made sporting rifles in this caliber with Mauser 98 actions and also with Mauser 96 actions. the swedish mauser isnt so strong like his successor and reloders have crack it from time to time with hot loads.I was sending Norma a mail about the 9,3x57 loads and the use in the mauser 96.

232grains( 15 gram) Oryx Velocity fps 2362

285grains( 18.5 gram) Alaska Velocity fps 2067

my mail: "dear mister nilson

... a Husqvarna Mod.46 in 9,3x57 and have heard storys about accidents with such rifles because its based on the mauser 96 system. ...
we can say that the 9,3x57 is a "norma" cartridge I belief that you load with this problems in mind. can you tell me that your 9,3x57 cartridges are safe in a Mod.46 rifle in good servicable condition?"

norma's reply
"Åke Nilsson <ake.nilsson@norma.cc>
Dear Lanchester

Yes they are we regular fire the same action/ammo from time to time
this during our daily quality-check of production.

Bests' Åke Nilsson R&D-dep."

I see this as officially because no one knows more about the 9,3x57 , do not exceed normas bullet weigth/velocity combination in a Mod.46 and you are one the safe side
