Just wanted to toss a question out to see if anyone had a lead...

I recently came into possession of a Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk1 that someone...ahem...sporterized.

At any rate, I'm looking for some replacement wood for the front stock. Does anyone know of someone who has either original stocks or has the inletting pattern for a No.1 Mk1?

It's too bad the rifle was...modified (and not very well I might add) as it still has the original floating charger guide and (for the most part) is in very sound condition. The barrel has pretty much been hacked and stacked with some cheesy sights (looks like something off a hardware store .22).

Oh well, another project to tinker on from time to time, eh?

Any info would be greatly appreciated...
