Know a few guys with the Rems,most seem to like them. A couple of them switched to the Savages though,and say they are much better. Alot of the guys shooting the 6.5x284 seem to be using Savage/Stevens actions as a base these days instead of the Rems for some reason up here.
Savage is making factory guns in 6.5/284 with they long range comp. rifles...have looked at a few---they are supposedly set up for competition right from the factory..For the money. Savage is a very accurate rifle--in my experience..
