Honey Badger They do sound like a couple of very nice classic rifles. If you can get hold of them and have the cash go for it. They would be a great combination for hunting all over the world. I would contact the dealers and see if they ARE willing to hold onto them for you if you pay for them now. It is a sale for them after all. And you are on foreign service, if he can do it legally it is his duty IMO. The Firearms licence is an issue as you rightly point out. Are the prices very good prices? If not there will always be other opportunities. Having said that, with hindsight I should have bought a double a few years ago when they were one-third of what they are now here locally. Here's an idea, hedge your bets. If the dealer is willing and legally can hold it for you buy the rarest one or the one you want the most. Then you have some cash to still go hunting and you have secured one of them. If a firearms certificate is difficult to achieve you only have one rifle to sell off. Good luck. |
