I agree, the Savage rifles are very accurate. So are the Stevens 200 models, although I thought the going price was under $300.00 . I have had a couple and installed the rifle basix triggers with great results. I have a Savage .22-250 112 series synthetic with a heavy fluted barrel and accutrigger now. I put a fairly cheapo Mueller tactical scope on it for coyotes. Its a little too heavy though. Its amazing how accurate they are right out of the box. Real workhorses.
