Re: Frustration

Hey WR,

I know exactly what you are saying, but although the British legal system has very much to recommend it, the approach to firearms is both stringent and unfair. We all know that no-one has ever robbed a bank with a Cogswell & Harrison .375, nor is there a single recorded case of a drive-by shooting involving a .318WR, but persuading the police and the Home Office (who issue firearms certificates) this is the case is almost impossible.

Who I'm defending, or why, is immaterial. I am still subject to the law (however flawed) of the land. I am seeking legal advice about the situation in Cyprus. It is the SBA police who have told me that rifles are illegal and, to be brutally honest, I don't believe them. I hope to be able to let you know tommorrow.

Cheers fellas
