Ruger African 9.3x62?

I found a new Ruger African in 9.3x62 for sale, $1,000 usd.

I 'm thinking it would make a good working rifle for plains game to go along with my SxS 450-400 3".

I'll probably restock with a longer lop and trimmer " British" style stock.

Anyone have any experience with this rifle, thought?

Sorry.

English is my second language and I'm also dyslexic.

No need to apologise. Having a 2nd language and being dyslexic puts you light years ahead of some personalities on the web at the moment .

The fact you are considering the 9.3x62 shows you are gentleman of good taste. I hope you can lean it up against some deceased game sooner rather than later.

Re: Ruger African 9.3x62?

I would advise trying the rifle first. Work the bolt hard and fast with and without rounds, from the shoulder. This is to see if the bolt binds. On some Rugers the bolt has a tendency to bind to varing degrees. If the bolt binds in the slightest, dont buy it. If the bolt works well then you have a good buy.
