Nice.

270, would have thought being capable of longer range shots
that maybe a bit more powerful a scope ?

Of course it partly depends on what you are looking
at using it for.

Re: new rifle

Went to the range to try the new zastava 270 today was useing some Winchester 130 grain power points I was shooting. With the factory iron sights got a nice 1 inch group right at point of aim didn't. Have to make any adjustments

Re: new rifle

I have 2 friends with .270's. Both of them use 150gr. Sierra BT's at 2,850fps - for everything from deer to moose and elk. they are both excellent game shots. They love their rifles and would not consider shoot big game with a 130gr. bullet.

Did you know that the great .270 promoter Jack O'Connor, actually admitted it took him an average of 3.8 of those 130gr. Silver Tips he insisted on using, to kill a BC moose. 3.8 shots per moose - good grief!

Had he used a big game bullet instead of that baby deer bullet, I'm sure his results would have been better - unless he was a horrid shot.

Any of the Premium 130's if I had to use one so light, or one of the 150's or heavier, would be my choice if I every used a .270, that is.
