two new ones for the collection

a 6.5 X 284 NORMA built by savage touted to be a 1000 yd rifle we will see and the next one a 6.8 spc on an AR frame i am guessing that the 6.5 is the next magical bullet on that we will see both are new and were a deal i could not pass up

Re: two new ones for the collection

The 6.8 SPC is an outstanding round, I had an AR-15 in that caliber for a while. Loaded with Nosler Partitions it kills whitetail deer like lightning and coyotes don't stand a chance. And the accuracy was amazing, the gun would easily out shoot my abilities, I would say in the right hands it could have easily been near bench gun accurate.

I kinda miss it sometimes...one of these days I might build another. What I would really like to see is Mossberg Chamber their Bolt Action Rifle(can't remember the model number but it uses standard AR mags), in the 6.8 SPC. I think it would make a very affordable nearly abuse proof first deer rifle for new or young hunters.
