IT is illegal on your side, Tinker, to ship a scope to a Canada citizen - from anyone actually, store or individual.

Customs locally told me (2yrs. ago) they don't care, any more.
Its the US side that levies fines - HLS.

There was an agreement between the Canadian PM (P.Trudeau) at the time and Clinton that it would be illegal to ship scopes to Canadian citizens.
Interesting that US made Leupold scopes never saw a dip in sales, as US wholesalers could ship scopes to Canadian businesses with FAL's.
The government just did not want Canadians getting scopes for 1/2 of CDN prices - or something?
