I have had great sucess on 2 occasions by using one of the HD Chassis. This one on the desk now is made by "Akasa"
you take the drive plug it in and close the case. It has a USB output and its own power supply. On both occasions the other PC just recognised it as an additional drive and all the data was there, it simply ignored the old Opperating system.
