Well, I been there in June (not the best month to hunt there) and this was not the best year to hunt the Gobi desert (too dry). I saw very few male Ibex, but lots of females and youngs. I took mine from a 160 m shot with a .338wm using 180 grains ballistic tip point, after 6 days of walks up the mountains. Is not a easy hunt, as usually happens in the mountains, but isn't too hard. Mongol Safari is a nice company and I hadn't any problem. Everything went perfect. I spent 10 days there, 6 with Ibex and 3 with the gazelles. I was no lucky with black tailed specie and with wolves, but I'll back . This hunt is less than 6000 Euros. |
