Re: Wildlife in Pakistan

Mickey, contrary to what you may have heard it is quite safe for foreigners to hunt in Paskistan, arranged hunts i.e.I'll admit it would be dangerous for a foreigner to go on his own and hunt without proper protection. The govt. issues hunting permits to foreigners, payable in dollars for Himalayan Ibex, blue sheep,Sind ibex etc. These hunts are guaranteed by the govt.i.e.reps. of the wildlife dept.member of IUCN and police escort is provided and it is absolutely safe.Alternatively you can hunt partridge, ducks, deer etc.in the company of local friends without any fear.I for one would be happy to take you on any hunt you wish.Alot of foreign friends hunt with me and really enjoy themselves.
