Came across this very interesting video, a real bit of history, more so in respect of the recent post about the Bandipur man-eating tiger just shot in India. It has been said that Donald Anderson had been a bit of a recluse later in life but the tribute to him doesn't seem to show that. It seems he was quite active up until his death and had many friends. I've always liked reading his father Kenneth's books on tiger, leopard and bear hunting in which Donald often featured. It seems the video was shown at his funeral last year, he starts with an introduction in person which may have been for documentary. Would be great if he had of made a documentary or even a book autobiography of his life. We lose so much history when these great hunters pass on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJznwgzhmCY |
