We read about the great hunting exploits of people like Jim Corbett, I guess because he wrote his stories (and so well too) down in novel format. Baker's books are also of historical note. But I am wondering if our esteemed members here can help. Were there any great Indian or sub-continent hunters (of native population origin) who wrote great hunting stories of their exploits? Of course there were great hunters. The great hunts of the Maharajahs of course can not be forgotten. Did anyone ever pen their experiences? Please share this information if you have it and any tips on finding access to these accounts. Thanks. |
