Re: DEER HUNTING IN PAKISTAN?

Mario,I have not heard of any outfitter offering Nilgai and hog dear.Nilgai is found on the border between India and Pakistan and you need special permission from the Border Rangers to hunt it and to my knowledge it is not given, certainly not to foreigners.Same with hog dear although it is found in other areas also it is very scarce and probably endangered. Can you give me more details of the outfitter and I will let you know if he is genuine.

Re: DEER HUNTING IN PAKISTAN?

hog deers mostly found on border and hunters from foreigen countries are not allowed to go on border although all kind of deer hunting is prohabited but persons with resources hunt
i was there last night and i saw about 25 good animals. Now govt of punjab is opening hunting for forighen hunters in khanwal plantaion for nilgai and hog deer .
I will find details for you and as far for the pakistani friends who hunt on border and have connections in rangers bagging hog deer or nilgai is like taking coke from shop.

Re: DEER HUNTING IN PAKISTAN?

It can be done and is probably being done but its not that easy even with connections.I have done it a couple of times and I know how difficult it is.As far as the Punjab govt.opening hunting to foreigners it is not confirmed yet.Nilgai is not a local animal,it comes from across the border and can only be found in the border region so hunting it by foreigners is very doubtful. And as I mentioned the hog deer or phara is an endangered animal and as such permission to hunt it is again doubtful.Illegaly ofcourse one can do anything but to go thru an organiser one should make sure that it is above board.

Re: DEER HUNTING IN PAKISTAN?

mr iqbal you may be done it twice or thrice but i know many pewople who do this daily even
it is just game of connections and i bymyself utlize connections and some more things but i always hunt inlimt naver take feemales like most people do on border
keep in mind lower connection work better then the upper level
now a days wildlife is very active but slugther is still going on

para or hog deer is protected animal and its hunting is not allowed in any case and no permit granted for hog deer
people take permit of wild boar and then use their connection to bag para
para is very easy to bag in night
according to some reports about 1000 hog deers wewre slaughtered in kala kthai wing last season only and the main butcher was co's son
iqbal naver use only connection use money as well and it will be very easy

Re: DEER HUNTING IN PAKISTAN?

Mario, there is no blackbuck in Pakistan so I don't know how he is offering it. The only blackbuck you will find is in the game reserve and cannot be hunted.Chinkara there is and can be hunted. Also in April it is really hot and hunting is difficult. If you have to come do so during Nov. to Feb.
