The country you would be hunting in is dry ,scrubby ,and isolated. And no they are not an easy target especially where they are constantly culled. I have seen them get wind of you, or see you from half a mile and all you can see is their dust as they depart. Remember these animals roam over 1000's of millions of acres here in Aussie without any barriers or fences that can confine them. However they do need water and in dry area's and times they come into pastoral country,knocking down fences and watering points ,including tanks and troughs. The nearest civilisation to this station is litterally hundreds of miles away so that is an experience in its self. Regards Al |
