Have been bite twice now,once as a kid cleaning stocks out of the combine by a western diamond back,damn! that hurt. luck the Doc said it was a dry bite,hand swolled up about the size of a grapefruit.Second time was hanging onto an overhang on rocks and got hit by a timber rattler in the back of the hand was sick for a few days.I always wear snake boots here in Virginia for early deer season and have taken three or four hits from cotton mouths in the swamps.
