Benbonyathe Hill. Yes very good. Checked it out using an online map. That is right in the region where the photographs are. Except not in the Park. Outside of it.

Yes I do have a 6.5x55 Mauser 96 (38). It is still largely the military rifle with a black plastic stock, still has the horrible military trigger and the military safety. The barrel has been shortened and is still stepped.

It is very accurate. I actually discussed getting the trigger re-done this morning.

For goats and pigs I grind off the tips to expose lead of FMJT 139 gr ammo. Most shots they work OK.
