hunting wild ox, buffalo and more....

Hi all
I am going to Australia next year, no not moving, just a trip and like to try some hunting to.
I have read about hunting to control the number of wild ox, cow buffalo and vermin. Is it stil done?
If it is, can I take part of it?
I just got a "new" gun I like to try, and it will be just the gun on a trip like these. Ok, ,
, it is a Suhl drilling, it is a 2 rifled drilling, ,cal: 16/65 and 2* 9,3*74R. The drilling will be joyning my 10,75*68 mauser.I will show photos of the drilling, when I get in November. Oh, canīt wait!
