no not to shoot i want to use a crossbow up close and personal the 13 1/2 footer weighed in over 1100 pounds i would have to use harpoons also on anything bigger then a bang stick in 44 mag does fine as a stopper,that muzzy cord is tough and when you have it in your hands you feel the animals power the surges it took over 4 hours its like marlin fishing in a river up down circles head banging boat biting.the biggest one i have seen here in florida will break the state record of 14 5/8 feet chased hime last year again this year then he holes up and i cant find him.maybe next year........
