I've shot zebra, wildebeest, whitetail deer and elk with the 300 grain Hornady RN, all quite satisfactorily. I have my reservations about this bullet on heavier game than big US elk/wapiti, but if you want to see how it compares with other calibers/bullets in my ballistic media, seem my post here:
