I would be happy to use a .375 H&H on scrub bull and if using factory ammo would choose the A-frame type ammo.

My two scrub bulls were both shot with Woodleigh softpoints, a .450 using 480 gr RN Weldcores and a 9.3mm using 286 gr Protected Points.

If you want to mix the ammo, personally I would use a good softpoint first and then follow-up with FMJs in the magazine.
