Hi Guys, I have a hunting trip coming up soon for some Wild bulls here in New Zealand. They would be the equivalent thing as the Aussie scrub bulls - still nasty enough to do some body damage should you get cornered. I'm planning on taking my Ruger RSM 375HH...question is would you use a solid for the first shot followed by a magazine of softs or just stick to a quality soft for first shot and any there after? I'm currently been using federals nice and cheap 300gr power shok ammo because it's the same price as a box of 30-06 ammo. I think they would probably be up to the task other wise I can get my hand on some of Winchesters 270gr or 300gr supreme a-frame type ammo or PMP solid & soft nose stuff. Looking for you advise on the matter. |
