In South-Africa we dont have feral pigs but we do,as everybody knows, have warthog and bushpig.Eating one of these arent a problem.Just make sure they are well cooked.We usually cut the whole carcass into chops and usually "braai" it over an open fire.I should think that the same will work for you guys there.Just make sure it is properly cooked.
