Any suggestions as to hunting /fishing at that time?

I have to be in Sydney for a conference which would keep me busy for a few days then it'l be about 3 weeks of kicking about.

What kind of weather / Season is it at that time?

Need to get up north and do salt water fly fishing and maybe get something furry to bleed in the sand?
